About the Event
Japan Financial Infrastructure Innovation Program (JFIIP)
Held during Japan Fintech Week 2026 at JETRO Tokyo, the Japan Financial Infrastructure Innovation Program (JFIIP) brought together startups, financial institutions, investors, regulators, and global technology leaders to explore the future of digital finance and blockchain innovation.
Organized by Asia Web3 Alliance Japan (AWAJ), Web3 Salon, and Ripple, the program culminated in a Demo Day featuring 10 innovative startups:
SuzuPay, NexBridge, LAPLACE, TRUSTAUTHY, Bankey, Kototsute, Seneca, MynaWallet, Green PowerLedger, and Solobank.
The event also featured the Future of Finance Leadership Dialogue with executives from a16z, SMBC Nikko Securities, SBI Ripple Asia, Toyota Blockchain Lab, Securitize, LayerZero, and Ripple, discussing tokenization, digital assets, institutional blockchain adoption, and the future of financial infrastructure.
JFIIP demonstrated Japan's growing leadership in fintech and Web3 innovation while creating new opportunities for collaboration between startups, investors, corporations, and policymakers to build the next generation of financial services.
